You scanned the code. This is what your team sees.
With SMEPA, each workplace gets its own QR code. Employees scan it with their phone camera and clock in or out in a few taps. Try a sample clock-in below. It is a demo: nothing is saved and no sign-up is needed.
How QR time tracking works
- Print the QR codeCreate a location in SMEPA (office, shop, site) and print its QR poster. Put it by the door.
- Employees scan itThe phone camera opens the clock page. Nothing to install.
- Identify and tapEnter the employee number and the date of birth (or a PIN you set), then Start shift, Break or End shift.
- Managers approveHours land on a timesheet. Managers approve or correct them, then send the approved hours to the pay run.
Scan this code with your phone to open the demo there. It is the same kind of code you would put on your workplace wall.
Also in SMEPA: breaks, optional location check, rota and shift swaps, leave requests and calendar, overtime rules and time reports. The sample screen on the right is a simplified illustration of the real clock page.
What your manager sees
| Employee | In | Break | Out | Hours |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1024 (Demo) | 09:02 | 30 min | 17:32 | 8h 00m |
Times and hours are sample figures.
No app to install
The clock page opens in the phone's browser from the QR code.
Checks on request
Optionally require the employee to be at the workplace using a location and radius you set.
From clock to pay run
Approved hours can be sent to a draft pay run, so payroll starts from real hours.
Rota and leave included
Plan shifts, handle swaps and approve leave in the same place.
Try SMEPA free for 30 days.
Set up a workplace, print the QR poster and let your team clock in on their own phones.
